Herrenknecht is a family business successfully positioned globally. It currently occupies a top position worldwide in the area of supply of automated technology for the construction of tunnels; associated equipment as well as a comprehensive set of services; acting in the area of construction of road tunnels; underground tunnels; exploration and underground mines.

 

A success story that marks more than 35 years, founded in 1975 by Martin Herreknecht; the company that started its journey in a small apartment in Lahr (Germany); currently holds a giant industrial area in Schwaray (Germany) and more than 30 subsidiaries worldwide.

 

There are several landmarks remarkable in its industrial route; highlighting the range of the type Pipe Jacking equipment; the development of innovative excavation process called Direct Pipe (micro-tunneling combines technology with the HDD - Horizontal direct drilling - through which is introduced from the start of excavation to install the pipe) and the launch of innovative MH1 to MH3.

 

Taking the place of only manufacturer worldwide of the full range of tunnel excavation machines; the company has the technology and the proper equipment for any project involving hurricane - from 100 mm up to 14,200 mm in diameter.
